Té Red Velvet

I wasn't expecting the cocoa shells to come through so clearly, but the first sip genuinely tastes like the frosting on a slice of red velvet cake. The Sri Lankan black tea gives it a nice medium buzz that works perfectly for an afternoon break—I've already reordered.

The beetroot slices are such a clever touch—they give it that subtle earthy sweetness that actually makes it taste like frosting without any added sugar. I brewed a cup this afternoon and the cocoa shells came through warm and mellow, not bitter at all. Definitely my new afternoon treat.
