Kaneelbroodje Matcha

The cinnamon aroma hits you the second you open the bag, and it brews up a cozy, dessert-like cup that still gives me a solid caffeine kick for the afternoon. The icing note is subtle but really ties the whole thing together.

Brewed a cup this morning and the cinnamon-bun aroma actually lingers in the mug after the last sip, which I wasn’t expecting. The matcha base cuts the sweetness just enough, and the caffeine kept me going past noon without a crash.

That first whiff is pure cinnamon bun – the icing note is actually there, not just a hint. I brewed it as a latte and the matcha flavor holds its own against the sweetness without getting lost. It’s become my cozy afternoon ritual.
