Rooibos tea | Caffeine free
We thought it was time to add some balance to our tea shelf, so we made a rooibos tea blend to go with Dozy Girl. Like Dozy Girl, this blend is fantastic for sleeping - a rooibos base infused with calming lavender and a most pleasant complement of cocoa & coconut, Lazy Boy is a blend that everyone can share & love!
The fact that it’s caffeine free is what sold me, and the rooibos base has this naturally sweet, earthy taste that doesn’t need any honey. I brew a mug about an hour before bed and it’s become the signal my body needs to wind down.
I’ve been reaching for this every night instead of my usual chamomile, and the fact that it’s completely caffeine-free means I don’t stress about a late cup. The rooibos base is smooth and naturally sweet, and it pairs perfectly with a bit of honey.
The deep, earthy sweetness of this rooibos hits different when I’m winding down — it’s genuinely calming without any jitters. Steeped it for about five minutes and the cup was smooth to the last sip, and I slept like a log.
