The aniseed sweetness is perfectly balanced with the black tea, making it an ideal afternoon treat. I love how the roasted dandelion root adds a subtle depth without overpowering the liquorice flavor. It’s quickly become my go-to for a cozy caffeine fix.
The aniseed sweetness is definitely the star here—it’s almost dessert-like, but the black tea keeps it grounded enough for an afternoon cup. I do wish the roasted dandelion root came through a bit stronger, though. Medium caffeine level means I can enjoy it after lunch without lying awake later.
The roasted dandelion root gives it a deeper, almost nutty base that keeps the aniseed from being too one-note. It brews up dark and comforting, though I wish the sweetness lingered a bit longer on the finish. Solid afternoon pick-me-up without the jitters.
